Bangali paratha


  • Wheat flour 2 cups
  • Flour 2 cups
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Soda by carb ¼ tsp

In a bowl mix together

  • Melted ghee ½ cup
  • Milk ½ cup
  • Egg 1
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Caster sugar 1 tbsp


  • In a bowl add dry ingredients, mix with all the wet ingredients, mix and knead well. If required add water, dough should be soft, cover and leave it for 4 hours at room temperature. Make about 12 balls, roll into ¼ plate size, spread with 1 tbsp ghee, sprinkle flour, roll like Swiss roll and longish, again form into a flour, leave it for awhile covered, now roll into parathas and deep fry.
